Carl Stephene Padua, a member of the PUP Sto. Tomas Computer Society and player of the Sentinels Esports Team, has advanced to the grand finals of Teamfight Tactics' Tactician's Gauntlet tournament, earning a spot among the country's top eight contenders.

Competing under the in-game name Naieon#1217, Padua secured his place after winning Week 8 of the competition held on October 9, 2025, where 32 players across four clusters battled for a slot in the championship.

Padua is also part of Sentinel Esports' Valorant Team, which claimed the championship title in the 2024 Sinta Fest Valorant Competition.

The Tactician's Gauntlet Grand Finals will take place on October 18, 2025, at 1 PM, broadcast live on Facebook (facebook.com/TFTPHL). Players will vie for a ₱100,000 prize pool, with the champion taking home ₱50,000 and earning a chance to represent the Philippines at the Teamfight Tactics Paris Open in France.

“Over 8 weeks of non-stop battles, fight for your share of ₱150,000 and claim your ticket to the international stage. Call your shots, power up your board, and unleash your ultimate move—because only one can stand at the top!” the event organizers stated.

Padua's achievement marks another milestone for the Computer Society's Sentinel Esports Team as they continue to make their presence known in the competitive gaming scene.
