The PUP Sto. Tomas Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has officially released the two partylists who will run in the upcoming Central Student Council (CSC) Elections, the highest form of student representation on campus.
The two partylists are Hirang and Kalasag, both fielding candidates for various CSC positions.
For the presidential race, Jasmine Narvaez of the Society of Electrical Engineering Students (SEES) will represent Hirang, while Edwil Grae Zapata of the Institute of Technology (ITECH) will represent Kalasag.
Among the official candidates are three members of the Computer Society (ComSoc) who will be running for key CSC positions:
Hirang Partylist
                Liam Mathew Palomo (BSIT 2-1) - CSC Councilor
                Agenda: Enhancing Resume Credentials Through Certification Opportunities — aims to improve students'
                employability by providing certification programs aligned with their academic tracks and career goals.
              
                Ashley Bianca Cruz (BSIT 3-1) - CSC College Representative (ComSoc)
                Agendas: Digital Edge Summit: Skills for the Modern Student — a one-day training to equip students with
                essential digital and productivity skills; and Connect: The Inter-Org Solutions Jam — a collaborative
                sprint to develop digital solutions for campus organizations.
              
Kalasag Partylist
                Rhianne Gabriel Magpantay (BSIT 3-1) - CSC Councilor
                Agendas: Festive Spirit: Paskuhan sa PUP — a campus-wide celebration promoting unity and school spirit;
                CONNECT (Communication, Openness, Networking, Engagement, Collaboration, Transparency) — an initiative
                to
                strengthen feedback channels between the student body and the council;
                KAPWA: Paskong handog ng kabataan - A christmas outreach and gift-giving program;
                and
                MIND PAUSE: Mental Health Initiative - aims to give every student a break amidst academic stress.
